Gateway to Wellness

When Dr. Jon Guymon established Gateway to Wellness, his goal was to provide chiropractic care that goes beyond simple symptom relief.

Now, we are dedicated to helping the people of Cedar Park, Leander, and North Austin reduce their risk of lifestyle-related preventable chronic conditions including chronic pain. We also advocate for the promotion of optimal health and wellbeing.

Amazing team!! I came in barely able to walk due to a complicated injury and after a few sessions, not only was I able to walk again, I was back traveling for work! So grateful for this team of Doctors and staff!!

I love the way Dr Guymon shows you what has changed in your spine and how things can be improved! I am looking forward to how wonderful I will be feeling over the 3 months I need. The blue super soft neck pillow helps me to keep my body from rolling forward when I sleep on my side too! Go see him now!!

I'm still going to see Dr Jon and seek his advice on healing pain in my upper right shoulder that is persistent. He encourages me and taps and adjusts each area that gets out of alignment. My prayer is I will keep improving and completely heal each area. The staff always greets me with love and kindness as we are all family to the office!

I’ve been so impressed with Dr. Jon and his office and staff. Unlike other chiropractors I’ve been to, he did an evaluation including X-rays and a thorough history and exam at the first visit. He laid out on paper a plan to get me “straightened out” (actually correctly curved) with an exact number of visits expected, how he plans to measure progress along the way and how long it will take. I’m just a couple weeks and maybe 4 visits in, but I’m feeling better and every visit has been quick and pleasant. I never feel rushed but I’m in and out in less than 20 minutes and the office staff is fantastic.
What really amazed me was during the exam/adjustments he can test my ability to resist pressure against each arm or leg and if it’s uneven he can do a quick adjustment with just a couple taps on a joint and a boom! I can hold against the pressure.

I have been going to Gateway to Wellness Chiropractic/Dr.Jon for almost a year and I’m incredibly impressed with his care. He’s not only knowledgeable about the spine and musculoskeletal system, but he’s also patient and empathetic. He’s always takes his time to explain my condition and treatment plan in a way that I understand. After just a few visits, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my neck, back, and shoulder pain. I am much more mobile and able to do activities I wasn’t able to do. I highly recommend Dr. Jon @ Gateway to Wellness to anyone looking for a good chiropractor. I also want to thank his staff who are all so kind and helpful. This is an add on August 5,2025 I wanted to add Dr. Jon’s supplements are awesome as well- people need to try MuscleCare - this product is an amazing supplement its food for the muscles - helps your muscles recover faster from cramps & tension- for example people who exercise a lot , for people who have Parkinson’s like my mother who suffers from rigid & stiff muscles, muscle aches,& pain & tremors, & my husband who has neuropathy. The team at Gateway To Wellness is excellent! I’ve trusted Dr. Jon with my wellness for over a decade. His intuitive approach to healing is awesome and I’ve recommended colleagues and family to him for relief from unrelenting pain. His signature approach uses finely tuned precision equipment to coax the spine into perfect alignment. It’s like magic, but the results always provide the proof. If it’s a good old fashioned snap, crackle and pop you’re after, he knows how to safely adjust that way, too. Honestly, you won’t find a more genuine, caring and talented healer than Dr. Jon.

Update: Dr John still helps me live a active life with his adjustments of joint alignment. Today I came in since I was experiencing loss of range to hike leg while getting on my road bike. A couple of quick adjustments and mobility restored. 6 years ago I moved an hour away and still drive just to see him as I have tried others local but they just don't have the touch Dr John does.

Dr. Jon has been taking care of me for 8 years. I have a very physically demanding job and maintaining my joint alignment will has kept me pain free ever since. I - by my own choice - probably use his care more frequently that most would need but find it invaluable. I've tried other chiropractors and just can't find one that work for me. I moved an hour away now and still make the drive back as Dr. Jon provides the quality adjustments I need. Most of my visits now only take about 15 minutes.

I am SUPER GLAD I found this place! I've had back problems for years and this is the first chiropractor that I've seen who ACTUALLY works on the root problem. Working with Dr. Jon and his team continues to be a wonderful experience! I am not new to chiropractic, but Dr. Jon’s care plan has elements that are new to me and his treatment has been so effective.
